  • 3rd party hosting?

    Hi all,

Just looking though some threads on here and where people have posted pictures it says something like “please update your accounts not for 3rd party hosting”

Any help on this would be great.

It's not your Rallye Register account its Photobucket. Photobucket have decided to charge for 3rd party hosting and pulled the plug, hence a lot of the build blogs are now showing no pictures. Most people are now using Flickr I think

        yeah, what Cris Said.

I was lucky and jumped ship a few years back now, but still have a fair bit on photobucket.

Yea its a ballache - despite not updating my blog for 4yrs I'm still planning on moving it all over to flickr and updating in the next few weeks, some people are well on top of it here..... Is there an easy way to do it? I haven't got many pictures but it will still be a pita when I get to it.

I think they have disabled that function on photobucket but a friend said he's used a google chrome app which is a photobucket downloader.

Ah right. Does this mean it’s down to the poster of the thread I’m looking at has used photobucket and not my photobucket?

yes, and if you have your own photobucket i;d suggest you stop using it, unless you have $400 dollars spare.
