    Peugeot 205 GTI

Welcome to the sale of my Pug.

I love this car, I just don't have the time to work on it or use it so it's sat there wasting away at the moment.

The shell is on around 160 ish thousand, it's had a few clock changes over the years judging by the mot check,

1.6 16v J4 Engine with a JP4 Head (Head rebuilt within the last 2000 miles)

Cambelt done within the last 2000 miles

    Cat 743 Cams

    Unknown 4 Branch Manifold

    Magnex Exhaust System

    RAM Air Filter

Baker BM Group N engine Mounts

    Uprated metal gear linkages

    Oil, Coolant etc

Suspension (Less than 1000 Miles old)

    Group N Bilstein Dampers

Peter Lloyd Rallying 180lb Tarmac Springs

    New Top Mounts

    Group A Beam mounts

    New rear discs and pads

Four Uniroyal Rainsport 3s which have covered less than 500 miles

    OMP Wrc steering wheel

    Electric Windows

I have a large spares package with the car:

    Full trim kit

    283mm Brake Conversion

    Rear Quarter windows

    Standard steering wheel

    the list goes on

The car is running the BE4R box out of a Picasso at the moment, I do however have included in the sale:

    1St and 2nd out of a 1.9 gti box

3,4,5 out of a GTI6 box (still currently been stripped)

and a spare BE4R box for this to be built into

As a car it is great, handles and grips like a dream. It wouldn't take a lot to turn it back into an original 1.9 as it'd just need another engine and loom.

The 1.6 is a pokey little engine and pulls well for it's size.

Obviously with it been a 26 year old car it has it mishaps:

Paintworks a bit tatty in spots

Odd bits of trim missing here and there

Engine could do with some sensors.

As you can see I have spent a small fortune on this car now, it owes me a fair bit. If I had more time I would keep it but work commitments and other hobbies are just stopping this. I'd rather it was getting used for what it was intended.

I'm looking for 2750 ONO, as much as it pains me to have it sat there I will hang onto it if the price isn't right.

It's been garaged for the last 3 months. The car is located near Ripon, North Yorkshire, I am currently working in Cheshire but I can arrange viewings and I can be about on weekends.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the interior, it's the grey dash, with the black and red leather bolstered seats

Unfortunatley I am working away from home at the moment so i can't get any more pictures. Previous owner assured me he'd done all the welding which seems to be true.

    Look at this on eBay

Now on Ebay, I will consider a swap for a 106 or another French car
