    Hi all, sadly it's AGAIN time to put up for sale my beloved pride and joy which has been with me for over ten years. It's a sad day but my newer car has forced this car out the garage and I do not want it sat outside under a cover for another year gathering rust.

    The saxo or BRUCE as it's been named affectionately has brought many smiles and has gone through quite a transformation. I don't have the time to finish it anymore and I don't want it to just sit and not be used; I'd rather the car went to someone who will treat him right.

    So the spec:

    Suspension:Full four stud hub conversion - taken from a 106 GTI
    Drum beam axle taken from a furio - modified to suit application.
    Spax VSX (non adj) dampers all round
    Spax 115lb 40mm lowering springs
    22mm front ARB
    Powerflex front ARB bushes
    22mm rear ARB
    19mm rear torsion bars
    Powerflex lower engine mount
    Recently renewed front wishbones, droplinks and bushes.
    No PAS - OEM rack.

    1.6 8v Tu5 single plug VTR engine
    Green panel filter,
    Standard internals - running Fuchs titan supersyn 5w-40 oil.
    S1 rallye downpipe
    Sportex "race tube" (decat)
    Supersprint 2inch exhaust system
    Running a 3bar FPR and reworked return line.
    Car passes MOT with CAT will provide cat to new owner.

    266mm, Lucas caliper front brake setup. Brembo discs and ferodo DS2500 pads.
    Exact carbon braided brake lines.
    Furio rear drum beam - renewed cylinders and lines.

    Wheels and tyres:
    OEM Citroen Saxo VTR wheels
    Yoko A539's with 6mm of tread front
    Kumho Ku31 on rear.

    Standard flat arch 1.1i X looks
    Non sunroof shell
    Shortened black steel aerial
    smoked headlights and indicator units
    Smiley grille - veneitan red chevrons (Sadly only one available).
    1996 rear lights (darker effect)
    black rear badges
    Fibreglass front bonnet in black (has faded so OEM bonnet to be fitted).

    Few track day stickers on internal windows as memento's; can be removed on request.

    Stripped back and excess wiring removed where possible.
    Sprayed red (this is not perfect).
    Hammerite black in the footwell
    GERONIMO bolt in 6 point cage.
    Cobra Monaco Leather buckets
    OMP red 4 point harnesses,
    OMP steering wheel (leather)
    manual windows.
    Steel roof (no sunroof)
    B+M quickshift (not shown in pics)

    Bad bits:

    Car was broken into a few years back on drivers side and the lock was never replaced. A black grommet sits in it's place. Never bothered me as it was a track car - but must always open passenger door first.

    Could do with some welding in the usual places (under battery and rear arch).

    Tiny Chips in windscreen from a Subaru impreza running out of talent at Silverstone.

    I have many many spare parts through the years and any kind of deal can be offered on these.

    I will get the mileage confirmed but the car as it stands will be 1000 ono

    Chassis Mileage: estimated 120k (parts have done so much less)

    Car will need an MOT - Estimated work = welding to front section and brake pads and discs due to sitting for a year without movement - I would fit tyres too personally!

    UPDATE : I started him this weekend and he still runs as sweet as a nut but would need a service for any long running. The price is representative of this and I have reduced 100,

    The car has been dry stored for nearly all of it's life but the last year it has been on my drive.
